Windy Last Tuesday of 2008

Today was my final morning commute for 2008!! Fortunately, the P508 was on time. We arrived to South Station at 8:21 a.m.

Boy, was it super windy out this morning. On my way into the office, I went to get a coffee and nearly got blown into a building. I thought March was supposed to come in like a lion, not January.

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year 2009. May our commutes be better in the New Year!

Cheers to that last line!

The goal of this blog should be to put itself out of business, so to speak!

Kidney Stones -

Commute-a-holic and I would like nothing more. But until we reach that point, we'll keep on blogging and keep on hoping for an easier commute.

Happy New Year!

FINALLY my prayers have been answered - I can't wait to try driving in during this time period. The Pike is closing exit 16 for a weeek or so to test the traffic patterns.

The P508 was a smooth as silk today. Arrived at Back Bay at 8:12. What I wouldn't give to have everyday like this!

I hope things improve for you guys on the Worcester line in 2009! I would be very much upset having to put up with the delays, etc. that you have to put up with!

I can't complain much about the Providence-Attleboro line; my AM and PM commutes from/to South Attleboro are mostly on time.

I enjoy this blog. Thanks, Train Rider and Commuter-a-Holic for keeping us up-to-date!

Best to you in the New Year!

Not a good start to the new year - 502 was cancelled this morning.

And not a great First Monday, either. My cellphone is buzzing like crazy with text messages from the MBTA about the 502, 504 and 506 trains all running late this morning. Thankfully the 500 was fairly on-time, even with a delay in West Natick.
