Train Rider is off on a business trip.
In Train Rider's absence, I will be posting news articles and comments from MBTA/MBCR commuter rail riders.
I received an image taken of the vestible of the 707 train from the p508 inbound commuter rail. This photograph was taken by Mike (usally a Franklin Line guy) this morning. He said that "there had to be 20 people standing in that tight space." That is probably way too close for comfort.
Mike also said "at least the train was on time." I guess we have to be thankful for the little things when riding the rails.

Checking in from the Framingham/Worcester line from Friday, I took the P527 (535 Back Bay) Outbound train Friday afternoon. I arrived at the platform on time and the 515 Framingham Local was still on the tracks. "Sweet!" is my immediate reaction. This means all the local stops on the 535 would have had a chance to board, so we should riffle through those stops on the 535. I was exactly on par with that assessment. The bad news was the 535 was all old single cars, so people were left crammed into the isle and vestibules for more than half the ride, just like our poor Franklin counterparts.
