Train Stopping on Fox25 News

The Train Stopping blog was featured last night on the Fox25 News. Sweet.
Does it feel like you're waiting for the train longer lately? Have you got the commuter blues? If so, you're not alone. In fact, there's a whole community online venting about the same thing. FOX25's Jim Armstrong reports from Canton with more.
Jim Armstrong and Fox25 - thanks for reporting on the commuter rail issue. I'm venting about the issues because I want to see commuter rail service restored.

Thanks!

I particularly like the part where the MBTA said to call the MBCR and the MBCR said to call the MBTA!

Anonymous,

No kidding! It just goes to show what a bureaucracy the whole rail system is. On one hand, they both claim to care about the rider's comments, but then they never respond. In fact, I sent a complaint to MBCR over a week ago about a particularly crappy 2 hour commute and I have yet to hear anything back from them.

Here's a funny story as well, the other day I was turning in my refund tickets for cash at South Station. The T employee was having a hard time stapling the tickets to the form, so I said jokingly: "oh, you should get a new stapler." She replied: "we can't, we're so in debt and even more so now with the refunds because the trains are always late, we can't even get a stapler!" Well, no staplers for the T ... that's just sad. But really, if your trains were on time, you wouldn't need to reimburse us all (which really, they don't pay for because they just claim MBCR for the money).
